Emma G
PCA
Personal Care Specialist
Emma has been with BEHHC since October 2023. Emma grew up on her family's farm and ranch operation in the Sandhills of Nebraska, and moved to Minneapolis post undergrad. She graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2021 and is currently pursuing her masters degree at the University of Minnesota to become a school counselor. Emma has always loved helping others in any capacity; as a volunteer in her local elementary or mentoring high school seniors at summer camp. She developed a special appreciation for caregivers after seeing the relief they gave her grandmother, as her grandfather transitioned from at-home care to a memory care unit. When the opportunity to connect with Sonja and BEHHC arose, it seemed like a great fit! She enjoys building relationships with clients, providing care and companionship with understanding and joy. Her favorite part of her role is making each day a little brighter and ensuring clients feel respected and cared for as individuals. Outside of work, Emma enjoys reading, spending time with her nieces and nephews, crocheting, attempting the daily crossword, and road trips.
