"Doctor Abby" as she is now properly titled, has always been a wonderful addition to our team. Abby graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Science in Ethics and Health in Childhood and Families in December 2018. She continued her education with an MA in Bioethics and Health Policy from Loyola University Chicago in May 2020. She had personal experience caregiving for her grandmother with Parkinson’s and dementia and about 6 months of professional caregiving with another company before joining BEHHC in March of 2021. Abby has maintained a role as a scribe in the ER at the U of M and also as an intern at the Center for Bioethics and active on the ethics committee. She has pursued her certification in ethics consultations in a clinical setting and as of May 2025, officially graduated from a Physician Assistant program! She has always been drawn to medicine and is most passionate about bioethics and public health! Abby also loves traveling, hiking, baking, and gardening too!
