Lesa, LPN

Associate Director of Care/EMT

Lesa began working in the healthcare field in the late 1980’s after finishing her Nursing degree to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She started working in home care, and eventually created her own in-home private care business, which she thoroughly enjoyed for 25 years. That is where she not only found her passion, but her love for caring for others. She feels she has been so fortunate to have been invited into so many different homes. Lesa then furthered her career by becoming an Emergency Medical Technician. Her goals have never changed, "to never lose focus to why I am there." She has the philosophy that if you find something you love, you will never work a day in your life. Lesa also enjoys running, boating on the St. Croix River, but most of all spending time with her husband, friends, family, and four beautiful grandbabies.

Since, Shelly has worked in home care settings and has taken formal training to further learn and develop her skills and keep current ‘with the times’. Her motto in life and in caring for others is to ‘treat others as you would want to be treated’. She feels that she learns so much from her clients and finds being in the home care setting very rewarding and she truly enjoys what she does.
